Do they have frequencies? Tell, tell us, remind me, 'cause I gotta be honest, l- like the last time I dug deep, dug deep into, like, what an Ultrasonic and a Piezo was, was in hygiene school.
And I use these things every single day, and I wanna be able to kinda, like, get reacclimated with it and, and, and how impactful it is to use it and, and how safe it is with my patients.
And you know, there are many clinicians that when, uh, we were educated, we were only educated on one technology.
And so, uh, you know, hats off to your faculty that, that you had that exposure of, of both of the technologies.
And so, uh, one of the things that they both share is they both have the quality of they work off of frequency and amplitude, and those words are like, you're like, "What are you talking about? The what with the what?" And but it actually has a clinical application that we'll explain, you know, a little bit later.
But, um, I do wanna do a shout-out for Endeavor because, of course, this is an Endeavor, this podcast is, is produced through Endeavor, but also through RDH Magazine.
We've written several articles this year, and one in particular, Dave, that would answer your question was the very first one, the January/February issue, the 411 on Ultrasonics, and it's a comparative between, uh, piezo and magneto.
And then, um, the, uh, then another issue deals with inquiring minds want to know, and then again, asking those questions about, well, wait a minute, when I actually use the piezo, how am I using it differently from using the magneto and so that, um, I, I can ensure patient comfort, I can ensure that it's working well, that I'm doing the procedure properly.
Um, so shout-out to Endeavor for the interest and for the whole community for the interest in supporting these articles.
