Cheryl SmithHostHow's your summer been? Have you had a chance to kind of take a break from it all before getting

Don't know if the Scottish folk feel the same, but I think it's been a great summer.

I've seen lots of sunshine and blue skies and the family and I got to have some wee breaks here and there.

We did, you know, three night, four night stays away there doing some Jet 2 package holidays.
need that break just to give yourself, come back in with a fresh perspective and a bit of a renewed energy because it's going to be full on, I guess?

I've always felt that taking some time away and this time I've done it differently, like, you know, sort of three, four or five day mini breaks through the period of time.

Since the last time we spoke to you two, your partner and your young daughter have moved over and are climatising to Scotland.

I would imagine that that feels different for you too, now that you're surrounded by family and you're properly routed down in Scotland.

And yeah, definitely when you've got your family around you, you just have that support.

But on the flip side of that, when you've had a big day at work and you come home to a beautifully cooked meal, a little daughter who just wants to build blocks with you, it's just a good way to have some balance and time with the family.
