And I would hope, like my optimistic version is that when you've got this sort of newer set of players who've come in and don't have all of that, that you can kind of build something new and more positive within that.

That's definitely, when I did my interview with Erin Cuthbert before the season, that's definitely what she talked about is this, because obviously she lost basically her whole group of closest friends, but she was saying there's a new fresh energy which she was enjoying, new players she needs to get to know, but a new hunger because it was players who, like you say, it's a clean slate and they're coming with ambition, wanting to prove themselves and maybe a step up or... you know, build something new together.

So I think, yeah, I think I can definitely see that.

It's just what's so difficult for Sonia Bonpastor is that the, you know, the pressure of winning that trophy just lingers the whole time, even in the league phase where if they don't get a result against Lyon that would be perfectly understandable and it's probably not going to necessarily impact their league phase finish that much but like it's her former side you know the noise is always there

A great LJ goal, like, you know, she was looking good.

And they've still got Erin Cuthbert to come back to, you know, their new captain, newly named captain, who has been such a key part of dominant Chelsea teams over the years.

So, yeah, I think it's not panic stations yet, but...

they do need to convert those chances.

But, you know, she was sort of talking about how they'd maybe just got a bit too used to winning.

Erin Cuthbert said something very similar in an interview she did with Flo Lloyd-Hughes at the Cutback.

And so I think there is this sort of like a bit of a sense of confusion for Chelsea about like how this happened.

And I guess maybe how, you know, like you're saying, Evan, how they were so consistently third in everything.

And I've gone surprise in a bad way.

I saw something the other day, Erin Cuthbert was giving an interview and she said something which I thought was so insightful.

She said, as a Chelsea team, they got so used to winning the league every year that last year came as such a shock because suddenly it wasn't just a given that they would win the league.
