#764: Tachanun - Shomer Yisrael (Part 11)

The Radak said, don't make us be understood by the mistakes of our youth.

Or alternatively, avonos v'shemim means the earlier people in our lives, our ancestors, because we are continuing in their way, we've ingrained their bad behavior.

But then the pasuk continues, ayintes ches, maher yikadmunu rachamecha, kidalonu ma'od.

Maher, quickly, yikadmunu.

Yikadmunu means the kodam, to advance, precede, rachamecha.

Hashem, let your rachamim Let your kindness and compassion, let it hurry to proceed.

And why? What's our argument? Because we are dal.

Dal means we are poor.

We're impoverished.

We're indigent.
