Um, yes, it was because I saw Shawn Achor's TED Talk and realized just how useful it could be, but actually, it really changes my life every day, um, and not in a bullshit way, in a real way.

Like, I have so much more enjoyment in my life because I'm a very grateful person.

So I talk a lot about my suffering here, but I actually have a lot of joy as well, and life is very sparkly to me, normal life.

Like, I will drive down the road and just love trees and cars and people and the sky and flowers, and it's one of my top strengths actually, gratitude.

If you're interested in learning about your VIA character strengths, a very famous fellow, Martin Seligman, the, um, father of positive psychology, which he says he's the father of because he's naturally depressive.

Uh, he talks about these VIA character strengths, and generously, him and the university he's connected to, the University of Pennsylvania, uh, they actually have many, many quizzes you can do on their site for free.

One of them's called your VIA character strengths, V-I-A, and you can do this quiz.

It's got lots of questions, and when I did mine, uh, my number one, uh, VIA character strength was gratitude.

So this quiz, you learn about yourself, but you can also learn about how do I use these strengths, and I definitely use gratitude as a strength.

It changes what I notice, and then of course, because I'm noticing the positive, it changes the life I experience.
