\*\*Discussion begins at 5:25\** In 1988, Peggy Carr and several members of her family began experiencing bizarre symptoms, including excruciating pain, muscle weakness, and hair loss. As doctors…
Peggy Jean was a single mom to three children before she met and married Pi Carr after a whirlwind courtship.
That's Pi P-Y-E, which was like an abbreviation for his actual name.
Oh, OK. OK.
What a weird name.
The couple and their blended family of five kids and one grandchild moved into Pye's Alturas home.
It's surrounded by citrus orchards and lakes.
They date for like six months.
They have this whirlwind courtship.
They get married.
The honeymoon phase did not last very long and they started bickering.
So she was distrustful of his long hours working the mine.
And she actually drove to the mine one day when he's supposed to be working and caught him cheating with his ex.
But it was her car there and his car there.
That was it.
Good tea.
I have a question.
Were they in the
mine while they were cheating? Were they doing it underground?
You know what? I saw this story on about four different
documentaries.
Everyone just said the kids are like, and she drove and saw his car at the mine and saw the girlfriend's car at the mine and there was no other car there.
And that's all I know.
So whether they were hooking up in the car or in the mine or in an office, IDK.
I mean, it's like a trailer out there probably or something.
