So I kind of get that and you're absolutely correct.
Between seeing a girl get killed and having a guy survive and vice versa, I'd much rather see the guy get killed and have the girl survive.
And I don't know why that is unless it's just because it's so ingrained because of the final girl or if it's just something that's ingrained in us as humans.
