And then 10 years later, you're the same age as them.

You're like, man, I thought they were old then, right? And you're still young.

And then later on, they retire.

You're like, wow, I'm the same age or older than they were.

And I still feel young.

And that's how those guys look at you.

Yeah, it's crazy, man.

My wife threw a retirement party for some friends and family last weekend, and she had these old pictures set up on display.

And it looked more like a wake than it did a party because there was, you know, all these old pictures of me as a cop and stuff.

But I was flipping through some material that I had and just thinking back on just, dude, just how different the profession is.

Now I really sound like the old guy.

No, I know.

But that's my point.

So you spent 17 years at the one agency and then you were at a smaller agency.

I started in a smaller agency for a year and a half until I got where I am now and have been for 25 years.

But the training, much different.

Smaller agencies back in 99, 2000.
