Episode 21: Hall of Fame Village VP says Canton project is a “game changer” for Stark County

forward? There's a lot of great news.

And first, thank you for having us, having me represent our company, our team.

It is incredibly exciting.

We are on a great track.

As of Jan 1, we were a privately held company.

and lots of progress continues.

And you said it, you know, we've been through it, but it's really, I think a true testament to the team, you know, in the grit and the fact that it's the right thing to do from an economic development perspective, this project is a game changer for our area.

Right, and a lot of times the best things come out of something like that.

Look, not everything is easy.

This hasn't been, but the payoff in what we're seeing, what you guys have already accomplished down there, fantastic start you are where you are and now you're pushing forward some of this can it it shows how important this ultimately is going to be to not only canton not only akron but all of northeast ohio

And this project truly amongst others is having a direct impact to changing that narrative.

And you know, the data's not great, but we're working really hard to change.

Right.

Some of our cities, they're not doing this.

And I'm not going to name them.

And I don't feel like they're in Northeast Ohio.

But, you know, I do a lot of reading about what's going on in other cities in this region, in the in the northeast region.

And you've got public universities that are closing.

And that's really, really putting a strain on some communities.

And if you're if you're not growing, you're dying.

That's
