Lazy river

In the park, and then we're going to talk about the slides specifically.

Then we're going to talk about the Wandering River because everybody wants to know about the Lazy River, right? Yeah.

Then food and drinks, what to bring and where, okay? So let's start with some logistics.

First thing you need to know, how do you get there from the cruise ship? You take the tram, right? You take the tram, yes.

own zone.

It's its own zone, which is interesting because I would think Wandering River would be like in a zone, but they're calling it a zone.

So basically it's their not-so-lazy river, and it's the tunnel that you go through in the not-so-lazy dynamic river with beautiful music and multimedia stuff inside of it.

And then it's Float Away Bar, the slim-up bar.

It's a water park.

Like I, I would be happy being in the lazy river for three hours and that would be a good day for me.

I think we actually got there relatively early.

We got there at 11.

It opened at 10 and we, We saw some tubes in the Lazy River, so we hopped on to the Lazy River first and then went and did slides.

And because you don't have the lightning lanes that you're trying to book and to race to, we really did just slowly go from ride to ride and took it slow.

Yeah, Great Stirrup Key, where they have that massive slide tower.

This one, it does have a massive slide tower as well, but also Lazy River.

It looks like they have some other slides.

It looks like a full water park, wouldn't you say? Yeah,

They have two slides.

They have a tropical spiral.

It's like a... naturistic style slide that ncl says it's the first of its kind which i haven't really seen the video of that so i'm definitely interested in learning that a wandering river is is more than 800 feet faster moving than a traditional lazy river it has like this tunnel a lot of people saying it's like it feels like you're like in an avatar movie when you go through this tunnel oh that sounds really cool uh they have a float away bar swim up bar They also have a clip-side cove.

It's a 10 and a 15-foot cliff jump, which is pretty cool.

And that pool had sort of a couple different sections, including a zero entry area for little kids.

And then there was a whole separate section that had a huge lazy river and a Outside by the pools, there were cabanas that you could rent for cash, but also tons and tons of beach chairs available to use for free with umbrellas.

Way more chairs than people.

This was not one of those resorts where you're having to get up early and put a towel on a chair to try to claim it.

And I would book with the same group again if we were to do this again.

Those were our activities for the trip.

Otherwise it was just enjoying the pool and all in the lazy river and the resort amenities.

This was really easy to plan because the activities were essentially at the resort outside of the shelling tour and the paddleboard rentals.

That is pretty much a widely known thing that people know that this pool has the sand bottom area, which is really unique.

It has the lazy river.

It has the slide that you actually walk under the slide because of where it's located.

The slide is huge and it actually goes kind of across the sidewalk.

And again, this is a great spot to have a staycation or if you just want to have a few days, even if you do go to the parks and you just want to have a few days to just chill at the resort, this is a fantastic option.

If you did not know, Stormalong Bay started as a snorkeling experience.

So there are some places in the Lazy River where you used to be able to snorkel with fish that are super deep.

So I know that there's a camp of specific mothers who don't like Stormalong Bay with toddlers just because there are spots that are super deep and it is super spread out.
