So going on to my second topic and question, what advice would you give producers or production companies that are trying to get deals done today, whether finding a distributor, whether it's finding a co-finance partner, whether finding an investor? What advice would you give to that individual to navigate through that as they come into a festival or following the festival? So maybe get us started.

I think it's very important to understand what project you have and who the right partners are for that project, right? So marrying the project to the correct sales agent, to an investor who likes the type of content, who believes in it, to perhaps the location that makes sense.

Maybe doing co-productions where you can access stock monies and treaties.
4:31
I think it's just finding the audience for that project.
4:34
I don't necessarily mean the audience is gonna go see it per se, although that is important for a distributor, but the audience of who is going to be receptive to come on board and help get this project off the ground.
4:46
There's a disconnect between the project people have in their mind of what they think they're making and how the market sees it.
4:53
So I think also gauging a temperature check with sales agents and distributors to understand how this project fits in the marketplace and what its value is worth will help you back into how to make it for a reasonable price point.

I'm not saying it's going to be easy, but I do think there are a lot of opportunities there that didn't exist.
