Mm-hmm.
11:20
But also, like, during the four weeks, like, there's so many narratives going around, what are good, bad, indifferent.
11:25
Like, I think a big thing for me was understanding that, like, people are responding to a character that they're seeing.
11:31
Like, they don't know who I am from anywhere.

5 MINS LATER

16:48
Mm-hmm.
16:48
So I think that was a b- it wasn't a show that was a global show, and we tried to make it Irish.
16:53
It's like, no, like, they succeeded in, in embedding Irish, um, values in there.
1:13
What impact did it have on you and your relative fame when it broadcasts?
1:19
Yeah, no, a hundred percent.
1:20
I think everyone who signed up the first time essentially was signing up for the crap, you know, either for the love of the game or just for the chance to be on telly, just doing whatever.
1:30
I think the change since the final till now has been just absolutely just kind of like just undescribable.
1:38
It's been completely different.
1:39
All the things you were working for is kind of brought into the light.
1:44
So like for me, I was doing football, I was doing other social media bits and all of those things are kind of just amplified like extremely.
2:50
Having been through it and knowing it now, what advice do you have to the contestants or would you have for contestants that we're going to see this weekend?
8:27
Yep, yep.
8:27
But once the date was kind of announced, in my head, I was like, "No, like, this is happening." Like, I kinda want it to happen.
8:33
I wanna, just wanna see what people think, you know? 'Cause you can't, you can't anticipate anything until it's actually on people's screens.
12:13
Mm.
12:13
Whereas like, sometimes when you're a woman in this world, like, you just feel like you need to be scared of everything, and you need to be timid all the time.
12:20
And like, even if you are, like, you can still be confident in you.
10:13
Were you conscious of that when you were in there, or did that only come to you when you saw the thing going out on the television?
10:20
I would say, like, the last couple episodes when it was, like, a little bit intense and I was kind of in the middle, I think I had, like, five days of just, like, being at the center of the drama.
10:29
When that was happening, that's when I was a little bit worried because I'm just like, depending on what you think of my opinion and how you view me already, that's gonna dictate the public's opinion of me.
10:41
Whereas, like, when I'm in there, I don't really care about people's opinions because we're here to play a game.
10:45
We're here to, like, figure this out.
10:46
So you're meant to form an opinion on me, so, like, whether it's good or bad.
10:51
I think people were surprised at how self-aware I was.

7 MINS LATER

17:50
Will you remind us of that Mean Girls thing?
3:30
How was that for you as a kid?
3:32
I mean, it's weird because I don't actually remember what I should know about it from like a kid's point of view is completely different because at that time I'm just obviously it's different to you're in your house you have your family and that's the only people in your house whereas you're in a massive house like hotel kind of set up with other people and like you don't really have the autonomy of food and stuff like that but like the age of six like you're very like adaptable and it's not only till i'm going to my friend's house for lunch after school or for dinner after school i'm seeing the difference you know what i mean but and that's where like i say it all the time like sports really helped not only me and my brother integrate into life here which i think we would have anyway as children you know like we all like i started in first class so i'm starting with a new class anyway you know um yeah
8:27
everyone what happened
8:28
like I think there was a lot of miscommunication we had suspected Faye and Joanne of being traitors I went to Faye asked her if she was okay because the day before she'd been buried alive yeah obviously not but yeah so very like just hard day and it was her birthday as well so I was just checking if she was alright and then in that conversation we found out that Joanne had kind of pit us against each other and it was weird because I felt like we had an alliance with Joanne so then brought it to Oyen and then everybody has their version of everything that's going on I said this.
8:56
No, I didn't say this.
8:56
Whatever.
8:57
We vote for Joanne.
8:58
She's not a traitor.
31:12
The ambitions that you have to go pro in the UK.
31:15
So it's weird.
31:15
So I signed with an agent, and once again, because I didn't, I got injured for most of my season.
31:22
And the last season I had with my team wasn't great.
31:24
Like, we just weren't great as a team.
31:25
And I played with Wexford, but I wasn't the main player.
31:28
So on paper, that doesn't look like anything for a professional team.

can you get joy out of watching football
