And they were my two great passions, uh, growing up.

Uh, I think, um, I'm from the same kind of school as Julian Assange.

We grew up at the tail end of the Sir Joh kind of fascist regime in Queensland, 32-year fascist regime in Queensland.

And, um, you know, my passion for getting into investigative journalism, uh, was driven by, by growing up in the end of that strange environment where you're living in what is supposedly a democratic country, and yet you're witnessing acts of non-democracy on the, on a daily basis.

And, uh, and then also, so I was also equally passionate about music, and of course the, you know, Brisbane is now, of course, recognized as one of the true, uh, centers and originators of the music known as punk, thanks to the band The Saints-
