But,

um, but yeah, I got out in 97, uh, and was able to hunt, you know, um, my family has a big farm down around Lansing area, 686 acres.

And, uh, it was just me and my wife at the time that hunted it.

And, uh, I got her into hunting and yeah, we just hunted.

And then about, I guess five, six, no, seven years ago, I was in a dark place.

I was going through a divorce with my second wife.

I lost a house to a house fire.

Like if you're like me, like if there's three bait shops and they're all three great bait shops, but one of them is supporting a cause that I get behind, I'm going to want to be able to make sure that I support that.

Right.

And there was, there was nothing other than groceries and light bill and making a living.

And so he took it probably '98, he took it to about '98, and when he handed it to me, that was still our business plan, right? And so we were progressing and growing.

We really didn't have a plan.

It was just to be profitable and, and to provide a good living for our, our guys, our employees, and we made a good living out of the company.

We really didn't start to look at a honest-to-goodness growth chart, growth plan till 2000, 2001.

And I purchased the business from my mom.
