I apologize that there's only one North Carolina story in the whole book.

I read the Asheville part, so you missed some great parts of the state.

I enjoyed the book.

I think my favorite part, like everybody's been saying, was the stories are nice and short, you know, so you get the meat of it quickly.

I hope this doesn't come off as negative, but you're not a world-class athlete.

So I decided, you know what, if I'm going to be mid-pack regardless, I might as well have fun while I'm being mid-pack.

Mm-hmm.

Uh, you know, she stayed with a lot of friends and stuff like that.

Um, but I've, I've done, I think, 13 or 14 marathons, and I had to do them all through charities 'cause I couldn't-- I can't afford to pay for housing and get somewhere.

Uh, and there's not a, there's not a ton of them in my area.

There's a few, uh, that I could have r- uh, I have ran and some I, more I could run.

But, uh, I enjoyed the little snippets about each of the marathons because some of them I've ran, and so that was kind of interesting.

I wanted to compare her experience with mine.
