That's exactly what Taylor had to do on her first production assignment at the school.

The first show I worked on was Dangerous Liaisons.

Our entire set was this beautiful white with gold trim, including the floor.

I don't know if you've ever seen a show with a white floor.

I certainly had not.

One of the biggest tasks we took on as a stage management team was to make sure that that floor, from opening night to closing night, stayed as white as possible, which is very, very difficult.

And the conversation we had with our set designer around just spike tape, which seems relatively benign, But for him, it was really important that anything we put on that floor did not detract from the vision.
