I just wanted to add on to what Renee was saying, that I, I agree that HR professionals wouldn't have an easy time delivering such news, and I think that sometimes, in order for them to cope with that weight, the emotional weight of such news, they tend to depersonalize or intellectualize things a bit.

So you might find people who are reading off a script or to be very factual and very logical about things, but that's the opposite of what is required of a compassionate meeting.
