We haven't, and the high-rise that you said is going to be the safest building in the region is now going to have to be taken down.

We are out of

We now have five minutes for discussion.
3:05
Excuse me.
3:07
So that's a great question.
3:08
It's one that we hear all the time.
3:10
So we're ensuring that a we're not taking that amenity fee out because it was not continual.
3:16
That is not in any way something that could have gone on year after year after year and one of the first things staff said to us is this is not sustainable.

Now two minutes to Stu Young.

Thank you, Ryan, and thank you to all the listeners, uh, for, uh, watching or listening to this show.
3:34
Um, I just wanna go back about the history of myself and growing up in Langford.
3:39
I was born in Langford, raised in Langford, started my business in Langford.

I come from a family of eight, and we lived in a one-bedroom house on Glen Lake Road, and that's where we grew up.
3:51
Tight quarters, uh, but, uh, I still live two doors down from that, uh, right now.
3:56
So I became the mayor because in the past, uh, before 1992, Langford had high taxes, it had, uh, high unemployment, and I was starting my business back around then and, and I wanted to do something for our community and get Langford to be a better place to live and to grow up, because it wasn't that great when I was growing up in Langford, and the amenities were not there.
