Steve, I believe we've got an episode coming out in the near future on drones, haven't we?
16:26
Yeah, well, I mean, the interesting thing about drones, and we're seeing that everywhere around the world, is the such rapid development cycles that go around it.
16:32
So, you know, when you go to a, you know, defence manufacturer and they might talk about development cycles being, you know, three months where so, you know, technology that you've got coming out now is potentially already going to be obsolete by the time it goes in theatre.
16:47
that's a problem for militaries around the world.
16:49
But when it comes to defending Australia, one of the things we rely on a lot traditionally, I think, probably is the tyranny of distance.
16:56
It makes it difficult for a potential enemy to sustain a logistics trail, if nothing else, if they're going to come to our major population centres.
17:05
But now that we're looking at these technologies and the way they're developing, that's becoming less of a problem for any potential enemy.

And Steve, I think you've picked up a lot of information thanks to osmosis from listening to all these episodes we put out, haven't you?
