I never wash anything when it comes into the house.

You know, the DNA stays on all of the objects.

I never bleach anything.

I never get rid of its history.

The smell of old, old perfume or, you know, whatever it is, I like that.

I like the connection or sometimes you find hairs on things.

And if it's someone that you feel, as occasionally we do, may not have a lot of other places where they get that kind of welcome, then we remember them.
