Mostly for Mark Gatiss's kind of sort of group of people and collaborators that he had as well.

yeah realized when talking to him that that we had both watched the same tv broadcast of carry on screaming on bonfire night sometime in the mid 70s uh which is very kind of influential um so yeah so and then things kind of you know after after a few years gareth left and then melly you know who is the third member of mayhem uh joined uh and then we just built sort of year on year trying to build up the audience um And now we've got a very loyal audience who, you know, come every year.

We have pass holders who, like, you know, this year when we announced the passes, like, immediately we sold, you know, well over 100.

You know, there's people who book out for their holidays every year to come to Mayhem.

You know, for people they treat it like, I've had somebody say it's like a second Christmas, you know, for them.

So it's a real, you know, we've tried to foster this real kind of community spirit for the audience.

And we sort of curate for them.

As you kind of start looking at films you're watching, thinking there's a lot of films about low pay employment, there's a lot of films about, you know what I mean? So it's just what's out there that kind of creates or generates the kind of heat that gets through to
