But anyway, as we wrap this up, have either one of you, did you find yourselves kinda adopting any of the Gladiator habits? Like, maybe their fitness routines or their catchphrases or anything while you were filming, or what?

The only thing I would catch is the sweat that would come off of them after every single challenge when I would have to interview them, especially from the bull.

Uh, it was usually, uh, I would have the turn with the Gladiators to talk to them after the obstacle, and Mike would get the contestants.

And I don't know why the directors and the showrunners thought it was funny to pair me with the Gladiators, 'cause it was literally like having to have an umbrella next to them.

[laughs]

'Cause it would be so sweaty and the bull would be spitting and it ...

That, that's what I caught.

That's the [laughs] that, that's what I took from it.

I feel like I'm a 10-year-old all over again watching this thing.

Aw.

That's exactly what we wanted to accomplish when, you know, Gladiator, American Gladiators came back, is it's a reinvention of it.

You know, we, we both...

Like you said, we honor the, the OGs.

You know, uh, we wouldn't be here today if it wasn't for them.

But that nostalgic feeling that you're talking about is the same feeling that we get whenever we walked into the arena and we saw the obstacles and the, uh, competition live.

It's very tough.
