So I'm curious what your thoughts are about that, both of you.

Yeah, I think this is a common refrain that misunderstands the role in which all of our meaning making is already, always already sort of prefigured by some form of worldview or some sort of theory or meta theory about the world, and that that structures how we think about it, that structures how we act, that structures what we value, what we can see.

And so if the old adage about there's nothing as practical as a good theory is true, and I think it is, then there's something even more true about the 21st century when we have global, kind of cooperation issues that are very obvious to everybody.

We have global cross-border, cross-value systems, cross-nationalities, cross, cross, cross, right? Cross-disciplinary.

Things that are actually real in the real world, AI, biological threats, climate change, and things happening in the ecology.

We're about to see Starlink launched, right? Starlink as an IPO.

Okay, so we have the colonization of low Earth orbit, right? That's not something that just, you know, has ramifications for India or an American or European or somebody in Peru.

And so that's the, you know, we're trying to, we're trying to articulate that and help people to appreciate that.
