I mean, what an amazing three-month detox for people, and, uh, you know, to see how they change after, and, and their relationship to, uh, to social media, and screens, and, and tech in general.
12:25
Yeah, the other thing that's interesting that we've seen is people spending so much time on technology, and you're on your phone, or when you're talking to people might be very different than who you are when you put them in a room with people, and they have to communicate face-to-face.
12:42
It's a, it's, it's a, it's a really interesting dynamic because a lot of times s- you see someone that has maybe a, a, a great persona online, but then you meet them in the room, and you're like, "Oh, wow, it doesn't really translate." When you put someone face-to-face, it's not exactly the same, which, which is interesting.
12:59
That never used to be a thing, and now it's definitely something that you have to really, especially in casting, wa- look out for.
13:05
Like, uh, is this who they really are? And we won't know that till we meet them in person.

And, and-
13:55
I think, I think it's two, twofold maybe.
13:56
One is they're really good at the game.
12:16
And, you know, to see how they change after and their relationship to social media and screens and tech in general.
12:25
Yeah, the other thing that's interesting that we've seen is people spending so much time on technology and on your phone or when you're talking to people might be very different than who you are when you put them in a room with people.

and they have to communicate face to face.

I
8:34
So
8:36
I think we try to, yeah, we try to keep, we always try to keep the core engine of the show, the format there and look for ways to twist it up or tweak or alter it.
8:44
And this year we went with just a larger version of that.
8:47
So as opposed to a subtle change to the game, we went with something that was a little bit more impactful.
8:53
And that could work out a lot of different ways depending on how they play it.
8:57
And hopefully the longer the twist goes, some of the more interesting facets of how it could work could play out.
9:02
Maybe the HOHs will not always be working together and they couldn't get evicted.
13:30
Was that a conscious effort going into the season?
