What do you think that means?

I mean, a lot has sort of happened in the last sort of 20 years.

Harvey Nichols, Boyd really, I would say by its success in Knightsbridge, London, started opening stores outside London.

And I'm not sure all of them have been that successful.

So the first store I think was in Leeds.

That's sort of okay.

The one in Manchester is too small.

And what do you mean by that? Is it just a case of spending money on it and making it seem more luxurious?

Well, I'm not sure that I buy that, um, observation is the only way to confirm or disconfirm, uh, theories.

I, I think there are a, a, a range of explanatory values that we would look at.

Uh, inc- including, uh, can we, uh, confirm or disconfirm through evidence.

Uh, but also looking at things like, uh, explanatory power, e- explanatory scope, uh, simplicity, so the use of Occam's razor, for example, in, in science.

Yeah.

Um, and the, the problem with that is I think there would be lots of, of areas of things that we, um, rationally believe in that wouldn't be included within that.

Yeah

No. Um, you went through them wobbly bits the other side of, um, Adelaide River, but yeah, you know, they, they weren't real flash, but they were all right.

And, um, yeah, I lasted there for about a year, and I rang, I rang Buntine's about then.

They said, "No, we got nothing." And, um, I'd never met Glen Forbes.

He was the manager there.

So I wrote a letter to him telling him all the shit I'd done on the Hume, and, uh, he wrote back saying, uh, "There's nothing in the br- there's something in the breeze, uh, with a range of uranium mine, carting a 20-foot container on the middle of each trailer, three trailers.

And, uh, if it's not, we're, we're still going through it.

They're not in the real life at all.
