Paul AyersGUEST
Yeah, I think what's different with the National Swine Health Strategy is we're really rallying producers around common goals and priorities.

Paul AyersGUEST
So the two goals of the National Swine Health Strategy are prevent and prepare for foreign animal diseases as well as reducing the impact of endemic diseases and something that we have done is we've established a swine health advisory committee to provide prioritization and feedback to the national work board on what producer needs are and how we can advance towards our long-term goals

Marisa RotoloGUEST
And from the research perspective, what we're focusing on now is the National Swine Health Strategy Research Summit, where we're going to get everybody who plays in that research space, level set them, and set the goals and priorities of the National Swine Health Strategy as our North Star.

Paul AyersGUEST
Paul? Yeah, the thing that I think is really important is that producers ask questions, right? When we talk about these ambitious goals, there's a lot of ambiguity and maybe some uncertainty.

Paul AyersGUEST
I would encourage producers to reach out to their state association, the National Pork Board, ask for help, and continue to provide feedback.
