First of all, Olivia, can you take me back to the origins of the app? Where did the idea come from?

Olivia CrossingGUEST
So the idea actually came from kind of witnessing how, um, different organizations such as, you know, t- uh, airports, um, collect feedback quite quickly in real time.

Olivia CrossingGUEST
So looking at, um, quick ways to get feedback is by, you know, selecting a, a red face, um, in the toilets or a g- a green face.

Olivia CrossingGUEST
And people within my ward area, I was, um, working as a staff nurse at the time, um, they created something like that.

Olivia CrossingGUEST
So they had these, like, pieces of paper with smiley faces that we all put into a box.

Olivia CrossingGUEST
But what I found when moving up into more of a senior, uh, manager role is that feedback, um, didn't r-really allow me to do anything with it.

Olivia CrossingGUEST
How can we get people to speak up more that generally don't? And the way that we can capture feedback that I knew was things like in an airport where you press a button that best represents how you're feeling.

Olivia CrossingGUEST
And we were like, well, how can we mimic that? And it actually started originally with smiley faces laminated and then put into a box.

Olivia CrossingGUEST
But what we learned from that is that we're not actually knowing who's doing that.

Olivia CrossingGUEST
So then the next best step was to put on paper, so someone would have to write their name on it, tick a face that best represents them, and then we'd put that into a box.

Olivia CrossingGUEST
And I would, every morning, unlock that box, take all the piece of papers and put on a spreadsheet.

Peter BrindleHOST
So in a nutshell, what does it do for staff colleagues? What does it do for management? And what might it do for the organizations that use it?
