How much work do you do in the week on it? Like, honestly.
30:00
Yeah, quite a bit on it.
30:01
So, like, on low intensity days, we'll back through, we'll come together, and then we'll have our, like, set positional skills that we'll go after.
30:08
And then depending on, like- Who I'm facing each week is depending if I do more.
30:12
Like, every week during extras I'll go after it with the nines, do some work with Daniel Vickers, DV, to go after, like, specifics I wanna go after this week.
30:20
And then, like, say when we're playing against Sale, coming against a guy like Roebuck, who's unreal in the air as well, I'll do extra, see how he, he, um, he does things aerially, and go after that.
30:31
Or, like, against Bath when, like, earlier this season in prem, in the Prem when I fi- fi- finally first had, like, a, a block to how I could get up.
31:20
What areas are you gonna go after next? Like, where do you want your, your ga- where, where do you wanna take your game to, and what areas, um, do you wanna have-
18:37
Yeah.
18:38
I w- I would've loved to like be in every single match day squad, but like as a young player, there's like, you gotta get used to like the ups and downs of rugby, and like things was so good to experience, like the mental challenging part of the game, like to keep like my focus the same no matter what I'm playing in.
18:54
And like s- like when I first got sent away, I had a chat with the senior academy coach, James Terrell, just like about just keeping my mental focus the same no matter what level I'm playing in.
19:04
Like I would treat that Ampthill game was like a test, a test match game.
19:09
I would go after the same things I'd go after if I would've been playing whoever Sarries would've played in that game.
19:15
And I feel like that's the reason that I've been able to go down there, still have the same focus, actually like enjoy the experience of being there, then that helps me to play my best rugby so I'm in the best position, say if I get picked next week to go and fly into that.
19:31
So I've just taken all those opportunities and just like just really trying to maximize in it, and then importantly enjoy it.

11 MINS LATER

30:34
Like, talk me through
37:06
What's it like sort of one coming through that academy system, but two then obviously being catapulted and your rise to then rubbing shoulders with those guys?
37:12
yeah i mean at first coming in like when i was in school still in the academy and seeing all those guys i was like what the hell am i even doing here like these guys are like some of the greats but um they they allow themselves to be quite approachable i'd say like being able to speak to them like around around the the training ground is like a lot more easier than like one would think And then they're all out to help you.
37:37
Some people think like, oh my God, I can't ask them questions.
37:39
I can't do this wrong.
37:41
I can't do that wrong.
37:42
When they first come in straight out of the academy.
37:45
But they've all been great to all of us young lads.
42:10
when were you
