You know what I mean? Yeah.

Can I say that, like, my, like, addendum to all of that is, like, is the how to make friends equation because I feel like, you know...

If you look at the United Nations Global Happiness Report, the United States has dropped out of the top 20 happiest countries.

We used to always be in the top 20.

And one of the reasons for that is people under 30, because they don't go out and they don't have sex.

Well...

One of the things, you know, so there's like actual data to back up.

yeah oh my gosh that's so good so yeah do you think being aggressively delightful is a personality trait or a practice um

... like, we're like, as we started this podcast, we were still in a ceasefire, and, um, that's been really tough because most of my family is still in Iran.

My parents are in America, um, and a couple of aunts, but then, like, truly dozens and dozens of other people are still in Iran.

And so when bombing started, and especially in Tehran, like, I was just, like, I was, like, not well, you know? 'Cause I was...

We couldn't get in touch.

There's an in- there's a blackout.

It's still very hard to get in touch.

... there's, like, all this shit going on in the world, and these kids are here singing, you know? [laughs]

Like, when did you know?

Oh, um, well, it's actually f- interesting because a few, you know, some, some years ago, um, I remember I had just kinda finished making, um, my last film, The Muslims Are Coming!, you know, which is, has this, like...

It's, like, this comedy but a s- so social justice kind of activisty film.

And, um, and I, you know, I couldn't pay for a c- a plane ride to go home.

Like, I didn't have the money, you know? And, um, and I said to my parents, like, "Look," like, "I don't have it.

If you can pay for this plane ride, then I'll come home for Christmas," you know, for Muslim Christmas.

You know, and my dad's like, "Yeah, yeah, that's no problem.

Do bad guys think that they're good guys?

[laughs]

Um, plus the Virginia Supreme Court poops all over the country, and the Secretary of Transportation goes on a road trip where he presumably poops all over the country.
