As Fran mentioned, just given the numbers that we needed when we were designing the trial, we thought this is going to have to go beyond the United States because there's just not enough children that we would be able to enroll in PCARN, despite it being a very large research network.

So we had to be very creative and engage our collaborators and friends around the world.

Fortunately, there were several good things in our favor.

PCARN is the only federally funded research network in pH-common secure in the United States, but we do have sister and brother networks around the world.

So PREDICT is in Australia and New Zealand, PERC is in Canada, and there are others.

We realized that we would be able to achieve the sample size if we were able to engage all of our partners.
