That's one of the reasons I wrote that essay, Why Are White Guys So Mean, is I want to kind of explate the history of this.

And what kicked it off was a map of the world and 4,000 years of warfare dotted on it.

And the majority of those are all in Western Europe, west of the Carpathians.

And then you see they are getting out into colonizing the Americas, and also down in South Africa.

So, why is that? Why is the answer to everything violent? And it came to me that when the Roman Empire retracted from Northern Europe and Northwestern Europe, they left the Catholic Church there to kind of watch out after everybody's souls.

But because the Catholic Church is a hierarchic structure, they encouraged this idea of these royal families taking over various parts of the land.
