This is when I knew that Schefter got this story from both sides.

And he's got great lines of communica- uh, communications with the Patriots, and good sourcing within the Patriots, and he wouldn't go with something like this unless he ran it by the Patriots.

And I knew he ran it by the Patriots when I heard that, 'cause that's what you're gonna hear.

I've started to hear it locally here as well.

Was there a lot of, I don't know, talk locally about the two of them maybe not being aligned or not being on the same page the last few years? Because I know from the outside, everybody wanted to tear them apart for years.
