I have not been through all of the seasons here, but throughout the winter when the tule fog came in and then the sun's trying to break through that fog and to see hundreds of snow geese on a field being lit up by that sun, it was just such a beautiful sight.

I think that the Delta is really unknown and like a hidden gem of California.

This area is just so gorgeous, especially in the springtime when everything's in bloom, in winter when the tule fog is rolling in and you get these really cool, chilly mornings.

You can drive along the rivers here and see all these really awesome rolling fog banks.

I really like working in an area that exemplifies the vast diversity of ecosystems we have here in California.

I think a lot of people can tell you about the mountains or the beaches, or even the farmlands of California.

I think that it's much rarer for somebody to know that, oh, California has wetlands?

When you're standing at Delta Meadows next to a great valley oak, you're almost guaranteed to see a great egret flying through the sky or a long-legged giant great blue heron standing near the tule.
