Um, Alex, this is something we were talking about earlier, but what's so exciting about this pairing, about Dipper and Pacifica, is that Dipper is normally very ...

He, he doesn't have a lot of confidence.

The natives of Gravity Falls, he came to them in their dreams and said, "Build me a portal," and they're like, "Nope." [laughs] But they made tapestries of it.

And, like, this stuff that, you know, Dipper's going through, Soos is still [laughs] going through this.

Um, so this is all Sabrina Cotugno's section, and it was all marvelously boarded.

This was, uh, her first, uh, boarding-

I was like, "Can we do that?" They're like, "I guess we can."

A great solution.

That's amazing, the way the, the slight resistance on the hand going through that arcade machine is incredible.

This was so real, this fight.

Uh, Matt, can you tell us a little bit about the boarding of this episode?

Yeah, absolutely.

So the, um, the boards for this episode were done by, uh, Alonso Ramirez Ramos, um, Emmy, uh ...

Matt, even though he was a director, boarded, uh, the vast, a, a huge amount of this episode, did an amazing job.

We really won.

Yeah, no, it was good.

I wrote, I wrote, like, a w- way too many page extended sequence of all the different jobs and sh- It was like basically like a day in the, "Here's how Soos manages it," and it showed you, like-

Yeah.

'Cause if, if you don't board that right and if the music isn't right, you're like, "Ah, they're not really going home." But if you play it to the cr- to the audience like this is really happening, they'll believe it and get scared for the kids.

And make Mabel look kinda cute.

Okay, so, um, we should just say, I mean, the Summer Ween monster, I don't know how you guys feel.

It's, like, one of my favorite Gravity Falls creatures.

He's awesome.

She doesn't want to at all.

I love how this scene is handled.

I love their heads are a little bit compressed, and, like, it's tight, and it's well boarded, and very emotional.

... that was really, really funny.

And, like, I love how they talk over one another.

I think there's a, there's a point in the episode where someone says, "Counterpoint," which is, like, one of my favorite-

Yeah, like, the, the, the arm burns and the kind of, like, wet willy, like, where they're, like, hitting the tummy and stuff.
