Uh, yes, I tried to board the cold opens and the resolutions of many episodes.

[laughs] I didn't, I didn't know when I wrote Mabel gets her, uh, braces stuck in the [laughs] screen door how it would work, but you made it work.

Actually, this w- th- yeah.

This was one of my favorite things to board on the show, actually, this cold open.

Seeing a l- this is our first look at Soos' kind of, like, normal life.

[laughs]

And I love that we care instantly about Gorny even though we haven't seen him ever, but he's great.

We miss him.

And, uh, yeah, I love the stories where it's actually really scary, but the characters' reactions are really funny.

Mm-hmm.

And, like, they, you know, they touch each other's faces, and they're, like, hugging.

And, you know, that's what, like, makes it, like, really, like, feel real and feel physical.

And we really tried to push the models to, to do those things.

there was so much good work.

I think, I think it was very satisfying, uh, to really just get to explore them for the first time.

And I wanted her, make her over the top and really, like, just, like, shameless, you know?

That's a great idea.

That was a great visual idea.

We really needed that since, uh, Dipper's hat is so iconic, having the, uh, the pine tree there.

We just had him with an empty hat, and then putting the numbers.

And then our, our director made all the clones slightly, like, more muted.
