No. Mal or Heidi, what's your thoughts?
23:52
Yeah, look, going back to airmanship and, and basic training, I'd argue that automation really doesn't change the fundamental.
24:01
The details change, don't get me wrong.
24:03
So before automation, pilots were taught to control the flight path of the airplane, monitor the environment, perceive what's happening, project it into the future, and then make decisions on that basis.
24:16
And we- and they're still doing that.
24:19
Even with automation, I mean, Boeing put out a video once that had seven different levels of automation that no one can remember, but it's either on or off, and when it's on, you're telling it what to do or it's figuring out what to do from the FMS, right? So the pilot's gotta monitor that- First, the flight path, worry about that, but then monitor the systems, and that sort of systems integration training is really important, and the G1000 manual really is that thick.
24:48
And then, uh, intervene, intervene where necessary.
