Like, where does liability fall, and can you start to build in conscious or legal liability? Like, how should we be thinking about some of these big decisions as we embed AI into how we work?

Lauren AcobaGUEST
We w- do a lot of this through work on talent transformation across the community, deciding what decisions in the organization ultimately should be human-made, even if 95% leading up to it is assisted or augmented or even automated with some degree of, of AI or other tech- robotic technology.

Lauren AcobaGUEST
And a lot of times, for me, this comes down to on the manufacturing floor, when you're talking about safety or quality, ultimately you want a, a gating approval where you have the human who understands the realities and the edge cases of what happens when the digital meets the physical world, who is more mature in their career and/or has lived through multiple iterations of seeing this go right and seeing this go wrong, something that our colleague Caroline Shumakoff talks of as judgment.

Lauren AcobaGUEST
So you wanna coach and build judgment into the organization and then build those points in your agentic workflows where you have the appropriate gates, where you have a human in the loop to make that call, especially when we're talking about safety, quality, compliance on the manufacturing floor.

So what's the top one or two takeaways that you shared to open the day on what's moved over the last year on this Power Threads concept?

Lauren AcobaGUEST
Yeah, I think the point on moving from conviction to execution and 80% of the community is already actively working on rewiring workflows across end-to-end operations.

Lauren AcobaGUEST
The reality is we are still in a place where we have yet to see the returns on that.

Lauren AcobaGUEST
still of use cases or applications of AI across end-to-end operations have reached an optimized state.

Caroline ChumakovGUEST
These might be things that we look at even beyond some of those overarching measures as well.
