Jim CallowayHOST
Have a lot of thoughts, observations on using billing as a client communication tool.

Julie BaysGUEST
I just finished an article that will come out in our journal this next month, and I fully believe that billing should be a way that you communicate your value to your clients, because that is one way where they get to see exactly what work you did.

Julie BaysGUEST
And since hourly billing, y- if it's hourly or whether it's flat rate, they need to a- actually see that it- the value is there.

Julie BaysGUEST
But now with AI, I think things are changing, especially for practitioners out there in the real world, like Wendy.

Wendy MeadowsGUEST
And then when I am talking to someone in other ways, I still bill the traditional model.

Julie BaysGUEST
And what's funny about this is we were just talking the other day, because I just finished this article for the Oklahoma Bar Journal, and in it I actually put invoices where it has an invoice where it's got some hourly and it's got some flat fees.
