I mean, tell me what that means to you, Sparkle and Grit.

So I believe with Sparkle and Grit, you can achieve pretty much anything, or if we look at the Sparkle and Grit mindset.

But Sparkle, I define, is that hint of inspiration lying in your path designed to wake you up.

So it's that like...

You see one of your friends doing something or you see a cool like ad in a coffee shop or you see something on Instagram and you're like, oh, that kind of piques my interest.

Like meaning it's like something that you want to do as well.

Like as a human being, it's like an activity or it's a role or it's a career change or it's just something.

I would love to know for you, what is your technicolor life? What does that look like for you now?

Yeah

it might just be they need ...

I like the idea, though, of just, like, changing within the firm.

And then I would say l- most of the people I work with is they're in a smaller, like, boutique firm.

They feel unappreciated for the work they do put in.

They're never, there's not really a clear line of sight for them to be a partner.

What's Wendy's big mistake?

So why don't you tell us what you're doing in your practice?

Sure.

So what I'm doing differently, just because I am so much more efficient with AI, and what used to take me an hour will now take me a .1, I've moved to more of a flat-fee approach for certain items.

So for example, like a complaint that, again, would take me an hour, now a .1, that's a flat fee.

A marital settlement agreement is a flat fee.

And the work that I do that is not in person or talking to somebody on the phone or in a meeting, I have flat fees for that work.

And then when I am talking to someone in other ways, I still bill the traditional model.

Do you think you'll ever progress to the situation, Wendy, where you do things on a total flat fee with no real saving grace if it takes too much time? [laughs]
