What do you think, Judy? Are we just not teaching people properly to use Face ID in our community?

I think it does need patience.

I agree it's not a training issue, although I think the biggest mistake people make is holding it too close.

They don't realize that you need to almost be arm's length and it won't work.

And people keep holding it right up to their face and it doesn't work very well.

But even if you do it right, it takes a few seconds.

And I agree that if you're out and about and you're traveling and you're using a dog or a cane and you're trying to juggle all the things, it's hard enough to use a phone, holding it in one hand and using it with the other hand.

So I want to know, Judy or Lena, do you travel with them in and use the transparency mode to let you hear traffic sounds? Is that a safe thing to do?

When I got my

Series 10, it would occasionally get very distorted.

The speech would be extremely distorted.

And I talked to Apple.

They told me to reset all settings on my phone, which I was very reluctant to do, but I did.

And it fixed it for two days and then it started again.

And it got worse and worse and worse.

Judy, you wrote a book on AI, so you must have done a deep dive into all of this.

I did, and the tools that are in writing tools, which are really minimal, the email tools, the summarize email, most people are finding that pretty annoying, and all they're asking is, how can I get it back the way it was? And there's not much there.

There is really not.

I get what Mike is saying about privacy, and I think that is a major thing, but they've got a long way to go to catch up.

Yeah, that could make it a bit more difficult.

But it's always been a problem when watchOS, whatever number, I think it's 11 now, but it's even hard to remember what number watchOS is on because it's always been out of sync with all the others.

And I just like the fact, I had the same thought about, well, JAWS was ahead of its time because it used to have a separate numbering system and then it went to years.
