In between the conference, the Edinburgh conference and end of 2024, we looked to do or we built our education platform for individuals for retail to learn about Bitcoin and make it as accessible as possible.

But that didn't.

wasn't as successful as we thought that was one of my one of my failures i would say within the business um it was still under the bitcoin collective so then we pivoted last year and we always like talking to business owners and entrepreneurs people who think just outside the box maybe against the status quo a little so it was a lot easier explaining bitcoin to these these people So we were like, okay, well, let's put on a conference again.

This is what I know what to do.

I know that I can put this together.

So maybe just explain a little bit, not to go into too much detail, but the monetary system, fiat currency... yeah this is limited supply versus unlimited supply yeah this is the thing coupling from tangible

For you, being a part of the Home Run Derby, now being a Home Run Derby champion, does it feel as if you are carrying on a tradition of baseball of America's pastime whenever you're in it? And why do you think you baseball players have so much respect for the spectacle that is All-Star break and the Home Run Derby still?

I mean, honestly, for me personally, I, I, I mean, I've grown up living and breathing baseball as to my favorite sport, you know, growing up.

Uh, my parents talk about how I slept in my bat and my glove.

Um, and I watched the Home Run Derby when I was growing up, too.

I mean, All-Star Game, everything like that, it's been my dream to do it.

So being a part of it, man, it was just special to me, you know? I mean, I don't know if you can truly explain how much you love the game.

Um, so I'm doing my best right now, but being a part of that was unreal, and especially against the greats and future Hall of Famers, um, like Harper and Schwarber as well.

Was that something that you had a plan going into? And obviously, you executed it very well.

Jordan, what excites you the most about the future of Walker's Winners?

Yeah.

I think that just, you know, watching the kids grow, you know? I mean, they...

As I said before, I, I was just, you know, just, I guess, the word is baffled by like they were, how energetic, how smart they were.

I want them to be able to achieve and, and not let anyone tell them that they can't do something.

Um, and that's the feeling I got, the feeling that they know they are capable of great things and, you know, going through the program and, you know, just getting the opportunities, showing what they can do for this world because it's gonna be something special.

So that's what I'm, you know, most excited about.

What message would you like to share with students who may not yet realize their own potential?

I know you've done the occasional film thing, but this feels a little different for you guys.

Yeah, I mean, I'm trying not to speak on behalf of Basement, but I do know...

So I know Izzy Robinson quite well.

We've come through sort of the same... space working with Touch Compass so yeah just I guess initially this relationship formed within their Mahi at Basements because I had approached them to see if we could screen our own documentary Takapapa at their venue during Auckland Pride so we submitted it as an event with Auckland Pride and then yeah finished that conversation with Basements Canada to see whether or not it was appropriate to screen films there, short films And yeah, that just sort of developed.

It was an interest of theirs to, I guess, have another avenue within the arts, something that was a little bit more relaxed.

And

while being over there, managed to see a few really incredible short films as well.

I think, yeah, there's two that I saw over there that really stood out.

It's just keeping your nose to the ground and never giving up on that part.

Yeah, for sure.

I'll piggyback that by saying I've played shows for 10 people, and I've played shows for 21,000 people, and it's been awesome.

And it's like...

They always tell you, like, my biggest rule was, like, try to make one more fan every night.

Like, if you get one more person that likes your music, and, you know, music and social media, like, it's all word of mouth.

Like, how many times have you heard about, somebody comes up to you and goes, yo, have you heard about this guy? And all of a sudden you listen and you tell Cody, and Cody's hanging out with dudes at Assembly Food Hall, and you tell Colton, and it's like, That kind of shit just kind of transpires where it's like just try to make one more fan every night.
