like knowledge can be a crutch sometimes.

Being musically naive sort of made some of the cool things in our old songs... a lot of the old songs for us it's difficult to listen to them just because performance and and stuff it's just but they have such cool things in them because we didn't know what we were doing and because the first jets and guns were around that time also We had so many ideas and we sat eight hours a day and just made music.

I mean, we have just as many Jets and Guns songs that never became anything because so many ideas.

But that also, if you do a lot of stuff, some of it's going to be good.

eventually and we just did so much music at that time and so then during the years you learn things about music about production about everything and suddenly you know so much that you can almost make a song without trying but it's not going to be very interesting probably so you have to use that knowledge sparingly and like uh still have that you can't go back to being naive after you've learned all this stuff but you can you can think about it you can try and and be playful and and willingly go outside the box and just so hopefully the knowledge plus that makes it even better
