Tell us about some of the programs that you implement in the community.

Sure, so one of the most exciting for me is our annual Literacy Cross Harlem March.

So it's usually the last Saturday in September or the first Saturday in October.

Community members take to the streets.

carrying their favorite book in one hand and a book to donate to a child in a homeless shelter in the other, passing reading-related landmarks, including the Schomburg Center for Research in Black Culture, one of our longtime partners.

And on the east side, it's the Center for Puerto Rican Studies, or Centro, as it's commonly known.

You start at either Sisters Uptown Bookstore and Cultural Center at 156 in Amsterdam, the only Black-owned bookstore in Manhattan, or El Museo del Barrio, one of the leading preeminent Latinx or Latine museums in the country right in East Harlem.

Why don't you tell us about some of the rewarding things? What really gets to you when you say, you know what, that's why I'm here?

Please, yeah.

[laughs] Yes.

So m-my first, my confession is that despite being head of content marketing, I really don't like LinkedIn, especially my LinkedIn.

It, it's horrible.

I don't know what's wrong with my algorithm, but if it was a real place, I wouldn't go there.

[laughs] Um, and I've got quite a strict policy about what I like to see and what I'm not comfortable seeing.

Mm.

How is your company using AI at this moment in time? And I know this is a constantly evolving thing, but how are you leveraging AI in your business?

Not a whole lot, to be fairly honest.

From a design standpoint, I think AI is a little bit dangerous.

We've definitely had clients who have produced AI images.

And there's always a conversation that needs to be had around AI.

Is this realistic? Is someone going to be able to reintroduce this? I didn't even think about that.

Definitely a love-hate relationship with AI.
