Yeah.

I know a plus seven is not, like, a whopping, uh, bonus to hit, but I also feel like that, the fact that it hits you and grapples you and you are stunned as long as you are grappled, does kind of fill in the gap of the, uh, mind blast not knocking you out for a minute, because until you're not in the loving tentacle arms that you are-

Did your job.

There, there, there's a very subtle lore thing that I kind of miss, which is the old stat block said the languages it knew in life, and the new one says common plus two other languages.
63:59
Um, the, the old way kind of created that idea that it might be so old that it just doesn't know any modern languages.
64:07
But as we all know, now that the multiverse is a setting, common was actually created in Sigil and is the same common spoken in every-

Yeah.

As somebody that really loves playing bards, the magical sources thing is a thing that I really want to bring up because they moved...

50:13
You're gone.

I'm sorry, works with the other versions of 5e.
7:31
Is that fair to say?
7:34
I would say yes.
7:35
I mean, they do like to repurpose stat blocks.
7:38
It is interesting though, that they like to repurpose stat blocks, but then go the extra step of adding in that, that wizard keyword in there that wasn't in the 2014 rules.
7:47
That's what I'm saying.
7:49
Um, I do, I, I actually don't mind those little class keywords.
7:54
Um, I actually kind of liked them in some things because it kind of bumps you towards, okay, this is what you should probably be using it for.

Although I would argue that I don't know that what is it, four extra hit points really makes that big of a difference compared to the non-magical attacks, which could make a bigger difference in some fights, but...
