It was a challenging day for the SAR Techs in the back, and just the randomness of it.

That's what I think I had a, had trouble with the most was, you know, why was it this guy? Why didn't he make it onto the deck? And it, it comes back to the idea that you can't save everybody.

Kind of that, that feeling, you know, just really slammed home that life is continuing even though I'm out on, on the boat doing this work.

His deployment was just under four months.

I know some people can be deployed for six months, nine months, so I was grateful for that.
