Chris RodgersHOST
So how are the different generations playing a role in today's emergency service organizations?

Jake HooverGUEST
Well, I think the biggest thing about the roles that it's playing is actually the challenges to the fire and EMS services out there.

Jake HooverGUEST
So you have the older generation, younger generation, and of course, there's all kinds of labels for that, but that's not really the important part.

Jake HooverGUEST
The issue is how do we bridge that gap? You know, you look at the challenges from when maybe some of us started in the fire service 30 plus years ago, for example.

Jake HooverGUEST
Um, you know, we were just told to do things sometimes and we just kind of did it.

Jake HooverGUEST
Sometimes you got an explanation, sometimes you didn't, but you just kind of did it.
