Yeah, I think I would agree in particular as it relates to Protect College Sports Act.

J BattGUEST
You know, as Josh mentioned, having a consistent framework for all of these affairs across all of our states from a competitive equity perspective is incredibly important.

J BattGUEST
We've all talked about here where NIL can be a benefit to our student-athletes in a lot of different ways.

J BattGUEST
We need to provide that in a consistent, enforceable way so that we get some consistency.

and Jay, let me ask you all, in looking at this overall, can coaches still use the pitch, come to this school because it's the best place to get an education and develop as an athlete without having the money conversation, or is the money conversation so baked in now that it's just going to be the part of any conversation that a recruiter has with a student?

How do you manage all the things that were part of what Barnhart's legacy? I mean, he could name every athlete in his system, but there's the business side of it as well.

J BattGUEST
Well, I think, Paul, the salient point is that if you were to look back five years and look at where we are today, I think no one could have predicted the amount of shift and change in the business side of college athletics.

J BattGUEST
And so I think the reality is five years from now, I don't know that we know exactly where we'll be then either.

J BattGUEST
But the important part and the part that we've started the work on and done a lot of the hard work that Mitch has led already is that we've built that structure that as it changes shifts, we're going to be in a good place.

J BattGUEST
I think the other part is, you know, we're really fortunate at the University of Kentucky.
Paul FinebaumHOST
What did you take from that as you led your next job as an AD and all the way to Lexington?
