... what would it be and why?
8:33
Nostalgia, childhood, um, dreams.
8:40
Just the craziest journey of all time, because I grew up listening to most of the songs on the album as a child, 'cause my dad and his friend or his sister wrote these songs.
8:51
And to bring them back to life has been really great.
8:53
So it's been...
8:54
I got to see my childhood come back to life in such a unique way.

22 MINS LATER

30:35
Mm.
30:35
So I called them.
8:50
And tell us a little bit about what it looked like for
8:52
you as a young child.
8:55
My parents are wonderful and were wonderful.
8:58
My dad has since passed on.
9:01
Both of them very hands-on, very present parents.
9:04
Incredible.
9:05
My dad was the type, like, he'd get up in the morning and make breakfast, take us to school, and then he'd go work at Dollywood and stuff.

24:01
Tell me, while you were creating it, how did it affect you emotionally, spiritually, creatively? How did that project come to
14:52
We've seen such a loving and support this outpouring.
14:59
I think it's great.
15:00
Danielle is an amazing pilot.
15:02
What's your take on that, cousin?
17:00
Since we have you guys, would you mind sharing the last time you spent some time with Dolly and what your memories are?
17:09
Uh, for me, it was last year and it was around the time that I released my album and I sat down and had a very sweet in-depth conversation with her about how to proceed with my career.
17:23
And we, we talked for about an hour and she was like, baby, I'm just going to tell you this.
17:30
You've got the talent.
9:51
Everybody just did their thing and it just came together, right? I mean, it just
9:55
was.
9:56
And I know for me, getting to do the BGVs, I'm still newer at the background vocal aspect of music, but I've really, really enjoyed getting to do it.
10:08
And the gentleman that I utilize for all my sound engineering work, he's become a real advocate and really helped me kind of come into my own.
10:17
And he pushes me where I don't want to push myself.
10:20
So getting in the box and and recording the background vocals and stuff, you really have to hone in on how the person you're singing with is enunciating or pronouncing something specifically.
10:33
So as an artist, it's really fun to get to challenge yourself.

14 MINS LATER

24:23
How have you managed to balance that and just kind of know exactly to find the sweet spot between the two of those?
7:36
And so definitely a lot of wonderful ladies to look back on for
7:40
sure.
7:42
So we were actually talking about one of my biggest inspirations.
7:44
I got to meet him the other week, which was Now I'm drawing a total blank on his Rodney Crowell.
7:50
I was just starstruck.
7:53
I've got to be honest.
7:53
I was like, I have to meet you.

15 MINS LATER

23:07
Well, so for all three of you, what is next on the horizon?
