we have a no-till system so i primarily just lay down compost in my garden and I grow on top of the soil.

I'm trying to rehabilitate the land.

It was once grazed by cows and probably overgrazed and I'm trying really hard to make it more sustainable.

So that's unique.

A lot of people are used to tilling but my background is in environmental science so I've learned a lot.

with that degree and I teach ecology.
