Well, yeah, like, for instance, when we were making, we have a music video for Fingers Entwined, which is the first release of Young Allies, and it's this, it takes this plot line of Dorothy and Oz, and it's just sort of like a weird reinterpretation, you know, this, like a yet, a whole nother 21st century reinterpretation of, like, this journey of, you know, somebody in a weird place and trying to escape.

Gavin PriceGUEST
In this version, they're actually sort of caught in this land of miniatures and trying to get out.

Gavin PriceGUEST
But, you know, part of the process like making it is like having to sit back because, you know, because as I was storyboarding the thing, you know, you have to start from scratch and say like, okay, what is this going to feel like to somebody who has no idea what we're dropping into, you know, and it's a little bit like that for music.

Gavin PriceGUEST
It's a lot easier, I think, in a way to hear it for music because it's like you're just hearing it in the room.

Gavin PriceGUEST
what the music sounds like, but when you're making a music video or, you know, making theater, for instance, like it's, it's, it's a, it's a different hat to wear, you know? And so I've always felt like, like in that way, making a music video is like making music because you have to follow your gut of what the, what you think the composition might end up feeling like.
